Hotel Lobby AI App: What the App Stores Actually Have

There is no app called Hotel Lobby AI. On October 3, 2026 we searched the US App Store and Google Play for "hotel lobby ai": neither store had an app with the trend in its name, and only one new iPhone app mentioned it in its listing. People make the trend with general video apps such as CapCut, or in a phone browser.

RapVideo is ours and runs in the browser, with nothing to install, so weigh our view accordingly. We read store listings and each tool’s own trend page; we did not install, test or pay for any other app.

Why most of it happens in a browser

The trend took off in mid-September 2026, faster than most app makers ship. So the tools that serve it are mostly web pages: Starrd, LightX and Dreamina put their Hotel Lobby options on their sites, while their apps are general AI editors. Higgsfield says it has no app at all, and Kapwing’s trend project is a page in its web editor.

A browser tool on a phone works like an app for this job. You add two photos from your camera roll, wait for the render and save the MP4 to Photos. Prices and free parts for each tool are in the best Hotel Lobby AI generators, compared side by side.

Tools also split by what they start from. A CapCut template pastes your face into an existing edit, often with the original song, and Kapwing’s project loads the original clip so you can line up an AI clip made elsewhere. Starrd, Dreamina and RapVideo render a new clip from two photos instead; on RapVideo the original song is the default sound, and your own song or an AI rap can replace it.

Lookalike apps: what to check before you install

  • The developer name. It should match the company behind the website. A search for Kapwing in the App Store showed “KapwinqAI” and “Kapwinqs”, two near-identical names from unrelated developers, and no app from Kapwing itself.
  • The rating count and date. A listing with no ratings and a release date from last week is untested, whatever its screenshots promise.
  • The in-app purchase list. It is on every App Store listing; read it before you start a trial.
  • What it does with your photos. Look for the privacy section on the listing and for a way to delete your uploads.

Doing the trend on your phone without installing anything

  1. Open rapvideo.ai in Safari or Chrome on your phone.
  2. Add a photo of each person from your camera roll, or one photo of you both.
  3. Keep the orange Hotel Lobby booth and the original track, or pick your own song or an AI rap. A 12-second 480p video is 6 credits.
  4. Press Create video. The render takes about 5 to 15 minutes, and you can lock your phone meanwhile.
  5. Download the MP4 from My videos and post it to TikTok or Reels.

Want it on your home screen like an app? In Safari, tap Share and then Add to Home Screen; Chrome on Android has the same option in its menu. The Hotel Lobby AI page shows the booth up close.

FAQ

Is there an official Hotel Lobby AI app?

No. Neither the artists nor COLORS put out an app, and no company owns the name. It describes the trend, which several apps and websites can make.

Can I get a Hotel Lobby AI app for free?

CapCut is free to install and many of its templates are free to use. Full AI videos cost credits in most apps; Starrd’s 20 free welcome credits, for one, cover songs only. RapVideo has no free video, and a render that fails is refunded.

Can I do the Hotel Lobby trend on Android?

Yes. CapCut and Dreamina are on Google Play, and every browser tool runs in Chrome on Android, RapVideo included.

Why does RapVideo have no app?

Rendering happens on our servers, so a phone browser is enough. There is nothing to install or update, and the finished MP4 downloads straight to your phone.
