Hotel Lobby CapCut Template: Steps, Limits and Options
A Hotel Lobby CapCut template is free to use in the CapCut app, but it pastes your face into an edit someone else made, and most take a single photo. To put two people of your choice in the orange booth, a two-photo AI generator does the job instead.
We checked CapCut’s website, Dreamina and the App Store on October 2, 2026. Templates are uploaded by users, so what you find can change from week to week.

Where CapCut’s Hotel Lobby templates come from
There is no official Hotel Lobby CapCut template. The app hosts templates that users upload, and these were the most used on CapCut’s website:
| Template | Uses | Length, shape, slots | What it is |
|---|---|---|---|
| “hotel lobby” | 76.65K | 29 s, 3:4, one clip | Tagged #fyp #trend |
| “Hotel Lobby” with an emoji | 45.43K | 13 s, 9:16, seven clips | A sports velocity edit |
| “hotel lobby - migos” | 11.12K | 26 s, 9:16, one clip | Tagged #migos #takeoff |
Each template fills its slots with your photos or clips, and creators add and remove them often.
Using a CapCut template, start to finish
- Find one. On TikTok, a video made from a template usually shows a CapCut link above the caption; tap it. In the app, search Templates for the trend name.
- Tap Use this template and add the photo or clip it asks for. Two of the three above have one slot, so use a clear, front-facing face.
- Preview, then export or post to TikTok.
The CapCut app costs nothing to install, sells extras inside the app, and topped the US App Store’s Photo & Video chart when we looked on October 2, 2026.
One face, someone else’s moves: template limits
- Usually one face. A CapCut template mostly takes a single photo, so a friend needs a second pass.
- Not your performance. The moves, outfits and lyrics come from the original clip; only your face is new.
- Gone without warning. Templates get removed or stop working, often while a trend peaks.
- The original song. A clip that keeps the copyrighted track can lose its sound or be taken down on some platforms.
CapCut’s own AI route, and Dreamina’s prompts
CapCut’s page on the Hotel Lobby trend is not a template either. On October 2, 2026 it described a video from two authorized photos, with a prompt that fixes who stands where and who goes first, then a licensed or self-made song added in the editor. It showed no price per video.
Its free page sends you to Higgsfield Genjutsu for the clip and back to the editor to finish it, without promising a free render; see Higgsfield Hotel Lobby. Dreamina, CapCut’s sister site, has copy-and-paste prompts for two photos on Seedance 2.5, with free credits for eligible accounts.
The two-photo route, and what it costs
An AI photo-to-video tool renders a new performance instead of pasting a face. On Hotel Lobby AI you upload a photo per person (or one of the pair): one raps at the hanging mic, the other hypes, and the routine follows a re-shot reference clip, not the original footage. That makes a real AI rap duo.
The default sound is the original song, with the same muting risk as a template. Swap in 2 to 15 seconds of your own song, or a rap written from your topic on a Seedance model, an original song. A 12-second 480p Hotel Lobby video is 6 credits and the smallest pack is 10 credits for $9.99; there is no free video, and failed renders are refunded.
Which route fits: template or photos
| You want | Use |
|---|---|
| A minute of fun with your face on an existing edit | A Hotel Lobby CapCut template |
| You and a friend in the booth together | An AI photo-to-video tool |
| Your own song, or a rap about you | The same tool, with a custom sound |
| Full control over the prompt | Dreamina |
- Use a sharp, front-facing photo per person.
- Only use people who agreed to be in it, and no public figures.
- Use 9:16 for TikTok and Reels. More ways in: how to do the Hotel Lobby trend.
