Hotel Lobby Trend Ideas: 12 Pairings With Rap Topics
The Hotel Lobby trend is built for two people who mean something to each other: the original duo, Quavo and Takeoff, were uncle and nephew and recorded as Unc & Phew. Below are 12 pairings, each with a one-line topic for the AI rap so the verse is about you two.
Updated
Pairings from your family
The Hotel Lobby trend started with family: Quavo and Takeoff were uncle and nephew, so an uncle and nephew of your own is the closest copy.
- Uncle and nephew, like the original pair. The uncle raps, the nephew hypes. Topic: "Uncle Ray and me, two left feet at every family wedding"
- You and your mom, for her birthday or Mother's Day. Topic: "Mom, queen of the 7 a.m. pep talk and the packed lunch"
- A grandparent and a grandkid: the less likely the rapper, the better. Topic: "Grandpa Lou turns 90 and still wins at dominoes"
- Siblings, trading bars in the orange booth with Both rap. Topic: "Twin vs twin: who broke the garage door in 2014"

Ideas for couples
- An anniversary. Put the years and where you first saw each other in the topic. Topic: "Seven years married, first date at a bowling alley in Leeds"
- A birthday surprise, posted at midnight. Topic: "Happy birthday Sam, 35 today and still scared of geese"
Ideas with friends and rivals
- Your best friend. The longer you have known each other, the better the lines. Topic: "Best friends since the school bus, still splitting every dessert"
- A friend abroad: a photo each is enough. Topic: "Toronto and Manila, best friends on a 12-hour delay"
- Your quiz or league rival, with Both rap. Topic: "Ana vs Priya, a pub quiz trophy, zero sharing"
Coworkers, bosses and business partners
- A coworker on their last day. Topic: "Goodbye Marco, the only one who knew the Wi-Fi password"
- You and your business partner: a promo for the business that rides the trend, with its name in the lyrics. Topic: "Fade Factory barbers, fresh cuts on Main Street till 9"
- A manager and a new hire, for a business welcome post. Topic: "Welcome to the crew, Jess, the first coffee run is on you"
