The honest answer

Can a pet really perform on stage?

Updated

Sometimes. To make a pet rap video here you use the same generator as a Hotel Lobby AI video of two friends: a photo of your pet and one of its duo partner go in, the AI writes an original song from your topic, and the model renders both performing in the orange Hotel Lobby booth.

The editor was built for people: the prompt asks the model to keep each face from the photo. With a pet the result varies: it may keep its look with a moving mouth, pick up human features, or come out stiff. We do not promise the look.

So this page starts at the cheapest booth setting: Seedance 2.0 Mini at 480p, 12 seconds, 9:16, for 5 credits. A render that fails refunds automatically; a finished one is charged even if the result looks odd. Every other setting is on RapVideo pricing.

Three steps

Make a pet rap video in three steps

  1. Add your pet and its duo

Add a clear photo of your pet and one of its duo partner, another pet or you. One animal per photo, face toward the camera, good light.

  2. Type a topic for the song

Up to 120 characters, like “Waffles and Pickle guard the house from the mailman.” Leave it empty for a general hype song.

  3. Render at 480p first

Pick a stage (Hotel Lobby (orange), Luxury Lobby, Studio Booth and Street Cypher), sign in with Google and render; the provider estimates up to about 5 minutes. If the result looks right, make it again at 720p.

What you get

What comes out of a pet render

01

An original song

The AI writes new lyrics from your topic and generates the voices. No one’s recording is used.

02

Your pet, as close as the model gets

The model starts from your photo. How close it stays to the photo varies from render to render.

03

You can join in

Make it a duet: take the second spot yourself and the video becomes you and your pet as a rap duo.

Pet rap song topics that fit the box

  • The rivals: “Biscuit the dog and Mochi the cat fight over the same bed every night”
  • The birthday: “Olive turns 3, the only one in the house who gets cake for breakfast”
  • The thief: “Ziggy stole a whole rotisserie chicken and shows no regret”
  • The rap duo: “me and Rufus, five a.m. walks, rain or shine”
  • Gotcha day: “two years since Nala picked us at the shelter”

What do I need for a pet rap song?

Two photos: your pet alone in one, its duo partner (another pet or you) in the other. Add a topic of up to 120 characters, or none. The AI writes the song and renders the rap duo performing it, in up to about 5 minutes by the provider’s estimate.

Can I make one with my pet and me?

Yes. Take one spot yourself. The left spot raps and the right one hypes.

Which animals work best?

We have no tested list. Dogs and cats are the sensible start: one animal per photo, face toward the camera, good light. Other animals can be tried, but the prompt is written for people, so expect less predictable results.

Is it the Hotel Lobby trend look?

The default stage is the orange Hotel Lobby booth: one hanging mic and the re-shot reference moves. It is a new performance, and the AI writes an original song instead of using the Quavo and Takeoff track. RapVideo is not affiliated with them or with COLORS.

Do I need a subscription?

No. Credit packs are one-time and never expire, from 10 credits for $9.99. Plans are optional.

Can it use my pet’s real bark or meow?

The AI voices are generated, so no. For the real sound, upload a 2 to 15 second recording as your own song; the left performer lip-syncs it, with the same mixed results.
