The trend took off on TikTok on 1 November 2026; remakes credit the comedian Kevin Winnik, and the most watched one we found, by @leehoustonx, had 7.4 million plays two days later.
Within a day, CapCut templates turned a photo into the same skit, and posts tagged #yourfirsttimeinafancycafe passed 450 by 3 November 2026.
