Where he is from, and where the name comes from
Bulin 47 grew up in Capotillo, raised by his mother. The nickname comes from his teenage years there: his group of friends called themselves "Los Bulines," and the name stuck. Before music paid, he worked delivering orders and driving a motoconcho, the motorcycle taxis of Santo Domingo, according to Listín Diario. On a podcast he said that without the public’s support he would still be driving one.
The "47" is part of the stage name; we found no interview in which he explains it, so we will not guess.
From barbershop comedy to dembow
His first audience came from short comedy videos, many filmed at the barbershop of his friend Macaco Flow, before he recorded anything. "Siete Pollos" (2016) took off on social media and made him a dembow name. Hits like "Bajo Mundo" and "Mamíferos" with El Alfa followed. After leaving his former management in 2024, he released "Toy al 100" in August 2026 on 47 Music, produced by Breyco En Producidera (Listín Diario), who also produced "Dame Hombro" (Objetivo Reggaeton).
Off the beat, he used his reach in 2021 for a video with the Fundación Topopoint warning young people about drugs, built around the story of a Capotillo neighbour, a percussionist who had toured with salsa stars (Diario Libre).
The freestyle that made him global
In early October 2026, outside a restaurant in Spain, Kevin Wai, a creator who approaches people in the street with a speaker, played a dembow beat, and Bulin 47 improvised over it. Listín Diario reported more than 50 million views on October 7; El Día, citing MARCA USA, put the original post past 65 million on Instagram. Some Dominican outlets spell the creator "Kevin Way." The original video is on Kevin Wai’s TikTok. The clip became the single "Dame Hombro," and Bulin told Listín Diario that "el dembow nunca va a morir," dembow will never die.
The song travelled well beyond the AI edits. Here a creator sings it in front of a Dominican flag; hover over the clip (or tap it) to play.

The laugh people meme
Searches for "Bulin 47 riéndose" are about one moment. About seven seconds into the clip, Kevin Wai takes over the vocal and Bulin turns toward the speaker, leans in and laughs, still moving to the beat. We know the timing well: our Bulin 47 effect was built by following the clip frame by frame, and from that point your version laughs and dances rather than raps.
The AI versions recast him with cartoons, historical figures and, in many of the most-viewed ones, footballers and politicians (El Día). Fan versions with cartoon characters are on the Bulin 47 AI page and in dame hombro meaning.
What we leave out
People also search for his height, his relationships and where he lives now. No reliable source we found covers those, and they are his private life, so this page does not answer them. For his own news, follow his official accounts.
Make your own version of the freestyle
On RapVideo the Bulin 47 Freestyle effect takes one photo and puts you in his place: the same entrance, crowd, handheld camera and moves, with the original sound, 15 seconds from 7 credits. In our own 15-second test render from a woman’s photo, she stayed the same person from the first frame to the last.
